Transferring Foster Agencies
Foster carers can and do transfer agencies sometimes and the process is easier than you might think.
Foster carers change agencies for a variety of good reasons; they might identify with different values, have a preference for a smaller or a larger agency, a Local Authority or an Independent Fostering Agency, or simply find that another agency is more suited to their personal and professional development.
Whatever the reason, if you would like to know how to transfer to Red Kite Fostering we would be glad to hear from you.
If a foster carer chooses to transfer to another fostering service they are entitled to do so, but they shouldn’t have to in order to retain a foster placement. The Fostering Network developed a Transfer Protocol to inform foster carers about the process.
